I could go on forever about this book but I don't want to spoil it for you so make sure you buy this book when it comes out in February and read it right away. And the chemistry between her and Teach was freaking intense! I loved how their story wasn't insta-love either but it grew with time and mutual respect for one another. But she didn't let that bring her down instead it made her stronger. She was a pistol with a quick wit and a pail (trust me you'll see when you read the book!) she had had a good upbringing but fell on hard times. He was compassionate and kind and loving but he did have quite the temper when his loved ones were hurting or an innocent was being harmed and I loved that about him. Hell Black Sails on Starz is one of my favorite shows! But what Nicole Castroman has done here is completely brilliant! She took one of the most notorious bloodthirsty, violent pirates (and also one who very little is known about in real life) and turned him into someone with a past, a backstory, a heart and I fell hard for "Teach". Simon Teen you BETTER pick up the sequel!!!! Omg I freaking LOVED this book! There has to be more.
